The Arizona Chapter of SWANA is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the 2026 AZ SWANA Chapter Awards. These awards recognize and celebrate outstanding leadership, innovation, service, and commitment within Arizona's solid waste and resource management industry.
We encourage members to nominate deserving individuals, organizations, and businesses whose accomplishments have made a positive impact on their communities and the profession.
Award Categories
Nominations are now being accepted for the following awards:
Municipality of the Year
Solid Waste Vendor/Business of the Year
Solid Waste Community Service Achievement Award
Solid Waste Manager of the Year
Solid Waste Employee of the Year

All nominations must be submitted by August 7, 2026.
Award recipients will be recognized during the 2026 AZ SWANA Annual Meeting on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Caterpillar Proving Ground in Green Valley, Arizona.
