Director at Large Nominations & Letters of Interest

Attention AZ SWANA Members,

The AZ SWANA Board objectives are to respond to the changing needs of our members by promoting education, innovation, and communication. The Arizona Chapter accomplishes these objectives by encouraging member participation in our committees, sponsoring general membership meetings, supporting training e-sessions and by providing statewide membership networking opportunities.

The Board is actively seeking letters of interest to replace, soon to be vacated (3) Director positions for the year 2025 – 2026.

Duties and responsibilities of the Directors are as follows:

The Board of Directors administers the affairs of AZ SWANA and constitutes its governing body in all matters affecting the conduct of its business operations, finances, receipt and disbursements of funds and the admission and suspension of members. Directors are expected to attend AZ SWANA Monthly Board Meetings at various locations statewide and participate or possibly chair special annual events. i.e. (golf tournaments, Road-E-O’s, symposiums, and banquets).

As per ARTICLE VI, 6.1 & 6.2 in the Chapter By-Laws, a Nominating Committee has been formed

to recommend the advancement of current officers and qualified individuals for vacated positions. The new Directors will be elected by the full membership at the next AZ SWANA annual meeting, Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Mesa Convention Center.

All AZ SWANA Director at Large letters of interest and nominations are to be sent in by September 19, 2025, to Jaccob Dalton at jaccob@spartantruck.com. Please provide a brief statement from your immediate supervisor supporting your role as an AZ SWANA Board member along with a current resume.
